How tax-free works

By default, edelkrone handles importing. We act as the importer of record, pay all import taxes and duties, and reflect this in our prices. You see one final price, and nothing is due at delivery.

With a tax-free business account, your company becomes the importer of record instead. We remove the import-tax portion from our prices, and you pay import tax at your border, in your company's name, fully documented. For most businesses this makes it a deductible input tax; in many countries it can be deferred or reclaimed entirely.
