Wired Connection for Maximum Reliability
This update brings essential developments for those working in signal-heavy environments or on critical, one-time-only shoots where reliability is more important than convenience. While wireless setups remain fast and practical, this update ensures the edelkrone App is now fully prepared to handle wired communication—exclusively with edelkrone PLUS series devices—for a more secure and trouble-free operation.
New Product Integrations
- DollyPLUS v2 and JibPLUS v1 now support wired connection infrastructure.
- All Controller devices can now control DollyPLUS v2, JibPLUS v1, and JibONE v3. Wired connections are supported for the PLUS devices, while JibONE v3 remains wireless-only.
- Full wired setup is now possible for Krone X configurations (currently only supported via app control).
Fixes & Enhancements
- HeadPLUS v3 now supports focus control in wired setups.
- Fixed a connection issue with the Vision Module, ensuring more reliable performance.
- Resolved a reset issue during timelapse shots when HeadPLUS v3 and DollyPLUS v2 are used together.
- Improved infrastructure in Slide Module v3 (for SliderPLUS v5), resolving “Failed to move” errors.
- Enhanced Focus Module performance to reduce jitter.
